Why Zwynd Works.
The FTC Energy, Inc.'s patent pending Vertical Axis Turbine/Generators represent the state-of-the-art in turbine and generator design. Zwynd turbines range in output size from 5kw - 250kw outputs, and have reached efficiencies not seen before in any Turbine on the market. Start Speed is less than 3 mph (1.34 m/s), rated power output around 27 mph (12.1 m/s).
The turbines are magnetic levitated, virtually silent and vibration free, are light weight, environmentally friendly to birds and bats, have few moving parts or any other efficiency-robbing mechanics. Zwynd turbines are designed for harsh environments, and integration with off-the-shelf PV equipment.
